Before applying Efudex cream to your skin clean and dry the effected area. Allow at least 10 minutes before applying the cream. You should use only a small amount of medication to create a thin coating to cover the the effected area. This cream should be applied twice a day to effected areas.

After applying the cream take care to wash your hands thoroughly. Do not cover the effected area with bandages or tight clothing. This medication should be used regularly to ensure proper treatment.

Avoid contact with the eyes, inside the nose, and mouth. If you get the cream in any of these areas rinse with water thoroughly.

Fluorouracil can induce allergic reactions. Consult with your doctor regarding known allergies and disclose any prior medical conditions, current medications, and any supplements you are taking to ensure a safe and effective treatment with Efudex cream.
