Premarin (Conjugated Estrogens) is a female hormone prescribed to reduce symptoms of menopause including mood swings, vaginal irritation, and hot flashes. The commonality of all these symptoms is that they are caused by the body producing less estrogen. This medication should only be considered in the oral form when direct products have been tried and the symptoms targeted are in regards to the vagina (otherwise it can be very dangerous).
