Q: Can I take this while pregnant or breast feeding?

A: You should speak with your doctor to understand the risk of using Strattera in both cases. There is not enough medical data to know if this medication can pass into the breast milk of the nursing mother.

Q: How do I know when I should take a break from using Strattera?

A: If the medication is being taken by a child your doctor will stop treatment with Strattera to check ADHD symptoms at certain times. This is also done to avoid growth defects from prolonged use of Strattera. Follow the directions from your doctor regarding any breaks in medication use.

Q: What happens if I miss a dose?

A: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If the missed dose is close to your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the scheduled dose to avoid double dosing.

Q: How should I store Strattera?

A: This should be stored at room temperature and should be kept away from pets and children who are not prescribed this medication. If you are unsure of how to safely dispose unwanted or expired medications speak with your local pharmacist for disposal options.
