Travatan is an ophthalmic solution containing Travoprost used for treating high pressure in the eye in cases of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Travoprost helps control the amount of fluid that flows in the eye to reduce pressure and relieve symptoms of glaucoma

Take care to read all the paperwork and instructions that come with your package of Travatan before using the ophthalmic solution. Before applying the eye drops wash your hands to avoid contamination. Remove any contact lenses and take care not to let the dropper touch your eye or any surface. Place one drop in the effected eye(s) once a day in the evening.

Allow at least five minutes between application of medications if you are using other ophthalmic solutions. Regular use of this medication will ensure the best results and you must continue using the eye drops even if you feel better.

Speak with your doctor about known allergies as there are ingredients that can induce an allergic reaction. Disclose any current medication, prior medical conditions, and any supplementation to ensure a safe effective treatment with Travatan.
