Vaniqa Cream (Eflornithine) is most commonly used by women to decrease the growth of undesirable hair on the face. Vaniqa Cream contains Eflornithine that blocks natural enzymes required in the skin for hair growth. Eflornithine does not cause the hair to fall out, but it does help slow the growth of unwanted facial hair in women.

Before applying Vaniqa Cream wash your hands and the effected areas, then apply the cream to the areas on your face and chin where you want to slow down hair growth. Allow five minutes before you apply the cream on areas you have preformed hair removal on. Ensure that the effected area has been treated with the cream for at least four hours without washing to ensure the best effect. Regular hair removal is still required while using Vaniqa Cream.

This is typically used twice a day with at least eight hours given between applications, or with specific instruction by your doctor. Allow the cream to dry completely before applying cosmetics to your skin. Vaniqa Cream acts slowly, and you should see improvement within four to eight weeks.
