Cialis (Tadalafil) is an oral drug used to treat males diagnosed with sexual function issues and/or the symptoms of BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia). The active ingredient, tadalafil, works by relaxing muscles in blood vessels thereby increasing blood flow to the penis. In combination with sexual stimulation, Cialis (Tadalafil) helps a man achieve and keep an erection. Compared to other ED medications, Cialis is long lasting and can be effective for up to 36 hours at a time.

Always follow your doctor's instructions while taking Cialis (Tadalafil).

  • Taken by mouth, with or without food
  • Taken no more than once daily
  • BPH patients: take medication as directed by your doctor, usually once daily
  • ED patients: taken in 2 possible ways as decided by your doctor:
    1. as needed, usually 30 minutes before sexual activity or
    2. regularly, once a day every day
